Notes

Maps and pictures from an exhibition held November 12, 1985 to April 13, 1986 in the Library of Congress Geography and Maps Division exhibit area, and consisting chiefly of holdings from the Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress. The exhibition showed the surveys of 22 expeditions of various nations to the Pacific.

A catalogue of the exhibition was also published in hard copy.

A [9pp.] bibliographic list of the fiche, retyped from the original catlaogue held in the Library of congress, is also available (additionally, the text has been integrated into this record as the contents fields).

Fiche numbered 1-83. Of these, no.1 has 3 fiche, no.16 has 2 fiche, and no.74 has 9 fiche; while nos. 26, 52, 55 & 57 were not used; giving 89 fiche total.
