Small collection of correspondence, newspaper clippings, an exhibition catalogue and reproductions of the artwork of Unk White, together with a photograph of those present at a book launch for his "Laugh parade" in 1940. Also included is a typescript story "In a garden" (with accompanying photographs) by associate Walter S. Wood.

Unk White arrived in Sydney in 1922 from New Zealand where he was born. He later became a cartoonist for The Bulletin and Punch (Melbourne), and was Secretary of the Society of Australian Black and White Artists, ca. 1925-26.
