Flo Wallace, a non-Indigenous cottage mother, Ballarat Children's Home, 1975-1981, speaking about the Aboriginal children in her care. She speaks about her family background and work history. All the children at the Home were State wards and some were Indigenous. Wallace describes the living conditions at the Home, and outlines the transition away from institutions to family group homes.
