Sheridan speaks of her family background and early influences, she recounts the early Women's Liberation Movement in Adelaide from 1972b such as its structure and the differences of ideology, the establishment of Women's Liberation House, the personal effects on her life, the links between Womens and Gay Liberation movements, the founding of Women's Studies at Flinders and Adelaide universities, Women's Liberation programmes on Radio 5UV, the setting up of the Feminist theatre Group and its strong cultural/political focus, the gendered nature of knowledge and the politics of changing it, reflections on the difference between reformist feminism and cultural-political feminism, her career decisions, the impact of feminism from today's perspective.
