Summary

Wallace-Crabbe, author and artist, talks about his family background; childhood; schooling and art training at Melbourne as well as views on Patrick White. He talks about early jobs , including teaching tertiary art at Prahran Technical College; moving to Canberra then Adelaide and the farm he bought in Gippsland marking the end of his teaching career. Wallace-Crabbe then talks about his first book and his reasons for taking up writing. He then talks about farm life and his third novel as well as his thoughts about the future.
