Alfred Neal, born c. 1925. Mother of Juku Gungan Tribe, Mt Mulligan, Neal speaks about his parents and about his removal to the dormitories at Yarrabah Anglican Mission, Qld. around 1926. He describes the living conditions in the dormitories where he stayed until the age of 14. He also speaks about his reunion with his mother, about changing conditions at the Mission, and about relations between the Yarrabah community and the Queensland Department of Aboriginal and Island Affairs.
