Summary

Olive Chalwell, born 1928, Fremantle. Chalwell and her husband fostered an Aboriginal boy in 1970. The boy's brother was also fostered by the Chalwells for 6 months. In 1976 Chalwell became ill and the boy was removed by Welfare, with the hope that he would be returned when she recovered. However this did not happen. She describes the day that he was taken away and what she knows of him now.
