Huggins speaks of his family background, his grandmother and aunties, growing up at The Gap, Dayboro and Ashgrove in Queensland, his education at a Marist Brothers college, the similarities and the differences between Catholicism and Aboriginal spirituality, his opposition to drugs, views on alcohol, favourite school subjects, the use of Aboriginal English, the teaching of Aboriginal culture and history at school, the relationship between historical injustice and the present, an experience of name-calling, traditional stories, Aboriginality, Abstudy, employment, desire to go to university, career objectives, overseas travel, relationship with his mother, earliest memory, role models and speculations about where he'll be seven years hence.
