Lange speaks of settling at Perch Creek in the Tweed River district, N.S.W. in 1907 ; the Murwillumbah Fire of 1907 ; errecting a dwelling ; felling 60 acres of forrest ; sowing grass ; felling timber and clearing techniques ; his family ; dairying ; father's work ; building houses ; family moving onto property ; tennants on farm ; marriage and his own family ; work on the farm ; the Tweed district ; cattle ; local butter factory in Murwillumbah.
