Biography/History

Burlakov co-founded with Louise Lightfoot the First Australian Ballet in 1929 which pioneered the art of the Russian Ballet in Australia. The partnership was dissolved in 1938 and continued by Burlakov with the assistance of Barbara MacDonell.
