Ray Willis, born 1925, Melbourne(?) Vic. Willis was a baby when he was placed in the East Melbourne Foundling Home, Vic. He describes the harsh living conditions at St. John's Home for Boys at Canterbury where he grew up. He also discusses his early working life and work as House Master at St John's Home for Boys. Around 1960 Willis was appointed as Executive Officer at Glenara Children's Home -then known as Northern Tasmanian Boys Home, in Launceston, Tas. He talks about the Aboriginal children from Cape Barren Island who stayed at Glenara during the school term.
