- Biography/History:

Commandant of the expedition sent from Sydney in 1826 to found a settlement at King George's Sound, Western Australia. He was later Police Magistrate, Parramatta. He was granted land at Goulburn 1835 which became Lockyersleigh. He was also Serjeant-at-Arms and Usher of the Black Rod to the Legislative Council.
