Calendars of prisoners, Shrewsbury Gaol, listing prisoners tried at both Assizes and Quarter Sessions, 1786-1845. Many were transported to Australia. Also filmed are private records including: letter to Ralph Leeke, 1813; papers of Sandford family of the Isle, 1839-1904; papers of Venables family, 1878-82; Davies and Price family papers, 1862-78; Hill family papers re mines in Ravenswood, Queensland, 1874-77; papers of Rear-Admiral Robert Jenkins' service in N.Z. including an account of Maori Wars at Tauranga, 1864; Commission, 1878 of Stanley Leighton; papers of Hubert Smith, 1636-1877 re Brignorth Grammar School; photographs of N.S.W., 1874-1913 and papers of Piggot family, 1853-76.
