Notes

A variant exists which is possibly a later issue put together when stocks of the plates had run low. It includes 11 plates but the images correspond to only five in the list of the 3rd ed. The six remaining plates have different maps (three) and views (three) which appear to be taken from the 1st ed. In total, eight plates are taken from the 1st ed. (1773) which are numbered but without caption titles.

National Library of Australia's SR copy is the variant issue.

National Library of Australia's NK3868 set fully bound in leather; bears the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1758/7).

National Library of Australia's SR2 copy imperf. wanting v.ol 1-3 and in poor condition with missing back cover.
