A translation of the first 100 conferences of the "Recueil general des questions traitees es conferences du Bureau d'adresse," 5 v., Paris, 1638-55; the compilation by Theophraste Renaudot and his sons Isaac and Eusebe; originally issued as "Premiere [quartiesme] centurie des questions traitees by conferences du Bureau d'adresse." Larousse and others list the original collection under Eusebe Renaudot, the elder. Cf. BM; Brunet, Manuel du libraire.
