Summary

A collection of chamber, choral, operatic, orchestral, piano and vocal works by Australian composers and arrangers. These scores and parts were the performance materials used by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's orchestras. The majority of the items in the collection are original manuscripts (some photocopies), but it does include some published works. The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by composer or arranger.

Symphony Australia is the management body for the orchestras previously managed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Source of Acquisition The collection was acquired from the Symphony Australia Library, formerly the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Federal Music Library (ABC Federal Music Library) in installments between 2000 and 2009 and then in three further installments in 2016.
