Summary

Donovan speaks about being removed from her mother at the age of 2 months. She was placed with a foster family at Liverpool, N.S.W. where she remained for nine years. At the age of 10, she was reunited with some of her natural siblings. After high school, she worked at a variety of jobs. Donovan's two older children were removed from her care, but she successfully fought to keep her two younger children. She speaks about the on-going effects of separation and childhood abuse upon herself and her family.
