An exposure of the knavery of pawnbrokers [microform] : an ample and clear detail of the charges which they ought to make according to law, and to the act of Parliament, as well as of the extortions, impositions, robberies, and various iniquities which they commit every minute during the business hours of the day on the ignorant and unsuspecting poor, as well as upon the better classes, who are for the most part blind to the knavery perpetrated upon them, and silent when they suspect and feel it, from the respect due to themselves, & their reluctance to expose the iniquity / by a barrister at law
