Artist. Born in Lithgow, Scotland and studied art at the Glasgow School of Art and in London and Paris. In 1914 he came to Australia and earned his living making stained glass doors and windows. He was one of the pioneers of post-impressionism in Victorian Artist's Society from 1963 to about 1974.
