A series of interviews with Australian aborigines (or the Koori people as they refer to themselves) living in Victoria. The interviews cover a wide range of experiences typical of Aboriginals living in modern white society including living on mission stations, the forced removal of children from parents, living on the river bank and the fringes of towns, agricultural work, artistic endeavours, the rediscovery of Aboriginal roots, international politics, sport and music.
