Summary

US Secretary of State General Alexander Haig in the Reagan Administration is compelled to resign over a disagreement with the President on the course of foreign policy. Haig is remembered both for his lack of self-effacement and his tortured, 'military manual' syntax - not to mention his inappropriate move to assume executive power after the assassination attempt on Reagan.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
