He reflects on time spent in London both as a student and a performer and then talks about returning to Australia and performing with the National Theatre Ballet. He discusses the emergence of ballet companies in Australia in the 1950s and the nature of the arts in Australia in the 1950s and 1960s. He speaks about the founding of the Australian Ballet, the role of Peggy van Praagh, his studies in ballet administration, productions and dancers.
