Summary

Rutter speaks about his childhood with parents and his early working life. He later worked as a shearer and then as a drug and alcohol counsellor for the Bathurst Aboriginal Health Service. Rutter speaks about the link between drinking problems in Aboriginal people and the loss of their spiritual life.
