Copy of album (folio) compiled by Clifford Last entitled "Julius Kane 1921-1962: a record of his work in Australia", which contains a number of published catalogues, a series of press cuttings and some correspondence. Also included seven photographs of some of the sculptures of Julius Kane. A catalogue and three newspapers clippings relating to Julius Kane 1921-1962; a retrospective exhibition which was held at the George Paton Gallery, University of Melbourne from 6th to 30th May 1975.
- Biography/History:

Born in Budapest, Kane immigrated to Australia in 1949, where he became a central figure amongst modern sculptors in Melbourne in the fifties. He exhibited at the University of Melbourne with the group of Five, and became one of the influential Centre Five. In 1960 he went to Ontario, Canada on a scholarship. He returned to Australia in 1961, where he committed suicide in 1962.
