Summary

Johnston speaks about being removed from and returned to her mother twice during her childhood. She was eventually sent to the Mona Mona Seventh Day Adventist Mission at Kuranda, Qld. around 1933, while the rest of her family were sent to Palm Island. She describes the living conditions at the Mission. She also discusses her adult life.
