Thirty four letters written by Frank Kellaway to Hilary Cohen. The earlier letters discuss the writing process and offer encouragement for Cohen's work and include critical coments on individual poems. Later letters include comments on politics, literary magazines and other writers, for example Eric Rolls and the Powys Society in England. The letters contain some original verse.

Hilary Cohen is a poet.
Frank Kellaway (1922-) worked as a Librarian and as lecturer at the Preston Institute of Technology. His volumes of poetry are Beanstalk (1973) and Mare's Nest (1978). He has also written fiction entitled A Straight furrow (1960 ), The Quest for golden Dan (1962) and Golden Dan(1976).
