Engineer-in-charge with Sir Armstrong-Whitworth & Co. in the construction of the Arapuni Dam in New Zealand, on the staff of Sir Alexander Gibb & Partner, London as Engineer-in-charge of the construction of the Galloway Hydro-Electric Scheme in Scotland and Commissioner of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Authority (1949-1967).
