Correspondence between Nettie Palmer and Kathleen McArthur. The bulk of the collection is made up of Nettie Palmer's letter - 112 letters, 30/10/1947 - 21/1/1964 - but a group of five letters from Kathleen McArthur to Nettie Palmer written during a trip overseas, and returned by Nettie Palmer, is included -29/6/1949 - 13/12/1949. The letters span from the beginning of their friendship until near the time of Nettie's death. Also includes a letter from Kathleen McArthur to Mrs Fanning (2.8.1976) and card from John Becherraise to Nettie Palmer and "A thousand miles away"; a one hour programme compiled by Kathleen McArthur.
