There are some personal letters and documents, a full record of the foundation and development of the Australian Church and a record of Strong's involvement with numerous social welfare organisations.

Minister of religion and founder of the Australian Church, born Dailly, Scotland, came to Australia 1875 as minister at the Scots Church, Melbourne. After a dispute with some Church members, resigned from the Presbyterian Church of Victoria. In 1885 he founded the Australian Church.
