- Biography/History:

William Watson Duff was born in Bathurst, New South Wales. He embarked from Fremantle (20 September 1916) on the HMAT Uganda with the 51st Infantry Battalion- 2 to 11 Reinforcements (April 1916-October 1917).-- Embarkation Roll. He served with the Australian Flying Corps succonded to the Royal Flying Corp in 1917-1918 seeing combat in the Middle East and France. He returned to Australia on the 6th May 1919.
