A colour poster advertising a performance by Tap Dogs at Union Square Theatre in New York. Poster features a photograph of six male dancers arranged in a row, in mid air. They are wearing work clothes including Blundstone elastic sided boots, flannel shirts, singlets, jeans or stubbies shorts. Image is above a large black boot print, which contains the shapes of people dancing. Poster enclosed in a border with the appearance of riveted brushed metal. Titles in red lettering. Tap Dogs premiered at the Starfish Club, Sydney Theatre Company, on 7 January 1995 as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations for Sydney Theatre Company's headquarters at Walsh Bay, Sydney. The Tap Dogs cast was led by Dein Perry, who also choreographed the work. Perry was joined by six other performers, Darren Disney, Drew Kaluski, Ben Mayne, Ben Read, Nathan Sheens and Gerry Symonds. The work, which was originally produced by Sydney Theatre Company, was directed and designed by Nigel Triffit. Its composer and musical director was Andrew Wilkie and it was lit originally by David Murray.
