Evelyn Crawford discussing aspects of Aboriginal folklife and her own life. She speaks of claypan dances with music supplied by accordions, mouth-organs, gumleaf and various rhythm instruments, with up to 5 accordions at one dance, New Year's Eve was the big dance of the year, sets were danced and parents taught kids dance steps, other dances included Schottische, Barndance, Waltz and the Quickstep, the times in the 1930s, how they did not mix corroborees with whitefeller dances but these were danced at different times on the same ground, the use of slack kangaroo-skin drums, emu-drum wind instrument used for bass,
