Summary

A letter from Sir John Franklin to William Henty, sending a letter of introduction to Sir George Gipps, Governor of New South Wales. It asks for assistance in tracking down a volume of plates and charts from the voyage of Antoine Entrecasteaux which had been borrowed by Captain Blackwood.
