Official copy of the Final Act of the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference, Bretton Woods, 1944 signed by the US Secretary of State. 4. Papers relating to the 1944 Bretton Woods Conference, 1944-86 including letters and reports by Melville to John Curtin, 1944. 5. Addresses, articles and other writings of Sir Leslie Melville, 1934-93.

Chairman of the Australian delegation at the UN Monetary and Financial Conference, Bretton Woods, New Hampshire; Economic Advisor, Commonwealth Bank, 1931-49; Assistant Governor, Central Banking, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, 1949-53; Vice-Chancellor, Australian National University, 1953-60; Member, Reserve Bank Board, 1965-74; Member, Commonwealth Grants Commission, 1979-82.
