Notebooks containing drafts of writings for the "Australasian", 1926-1930 and scores of Sheffield Shield and Test matches in 1929-1930. Most of the writings relate to cricketers and teams of the past, including obituaries of cricketers. They include the 1889 Australian team which toured England and individual players such as Joe Darling, George Giffen, Jack Lyons, Clem Hill, Victor Trumper, Vernon Ransford, Herbert Strudwick and Jack Saunders. There are also references to current matches and players like W.M. Woodfull, Bill Ponsford, Archie Jackson, Donald Bradman and Walter Hammond.

Cricketer and journalist. Worrall played cricket for Victoria between 1883 and 1902 and represented Australia in 11 Test matches. He was also an outstanding Australian Rules footballer and was captain of Fitzroy for nine seasons. In 1916 he joined the staff of the Australasian and for over 20 years wrote columns on cricket and football. See A.D.B. vol. 12.
