Folkloric recording. Neville Jago discusses his childhood and early life; being left with brother 'Dook' in Dorrigo by their father; his closeness to older brother, 'Dook'; learning to survive on their own; both volunteering to join the army at the outbreak of World War II; falsifying his age and serving overseas in Greece and Lebanon at the age of sixteen; his brother 'Dook' joining at the age of eighteen but being killed at Tobruk; his survival and being sent home when the authorities discovered his real age; working in many different jobs; attending university; marrying; working in real estate and then becoming a financial planner with the Advance Bank (later St George); working in an executive position until his retirement at the age of 74 years; his second wife Laurel being married since1960; his activities in Legacy, his children's careers; his grandchildren; Anzac Day; Henry Lawson and a family connection.
