Notes

Map showing the bathymetric soundings in Tasman Sea and Southern Ocean taken by the Australasian Antarctic Expedition lead by Douglas Mawson on the 'Aurora' during its journey between Tasmania, Macquarie Island, the tip of southern New Zealand and its main base in Adelie Land [i.e. Terre Adelie] in Antarctica. Further soundings are provided along the Antarctic coast stretching from King George V Land west to Western Base on the coast of Queen Mary Land. Some land relief is indicated by a very limited amount of spot heights and contours.

Note on map: Names underlined are those discovered by the Australasian Antarctic Expedition.
