Stephanie Beggs, Spanish dancer, provides some background information on her life and then she describes the concerts that she and her family gave to raise money for the Far West Children's Health Scheme at their home in Bellevue Hill. She then talks about learning to dance from an early age; schooling at Ascham; decision to do Spanish dancing and travelling to London with her parents to study Spanish dancing with Elsa Brunelleschi for 9-10 months. Beggs then discusses her return to London after WWII to continue her studies. She also travelled to Spain, France and Canada and she talks about the different performances and her adoption of the stage name, Consuelo Alba. Beggs then discusses the formation of Los Balletes de Madrid and its disbandment in 1952 and her return to London. She then returned to Australia, married in 1953 and settled in Seaforth, N.S.W.
