- Boston; New England: : Re-printed by Green and Russell, in Queen-Street, for J. Edwards, in Cornhill., M.DCC.LVII. [1757]
- 276, 8, 60 p. ; 15 cm. (12mo)
- Series:
- Early American imprints. Series I, Evans (1639-1800); no. 40877.
- Notes:
-
- "Messiah, an hymn, introductory to the hymns of the appendix. Boston: Printed by Green and Russell ... MDCCLVIII."--8 p., 2nd count, with separate title page. Although imprint date is a year later than that of the Psalms and Appendix, this was apparently issued to accompany the 1757 Green and Russell editions.
- "Appendix, containing a number of hymns, taken chiefly from Dr. Watts's Scriptural collection. ... Boston: Printed for J. Winter, 1757."--60 p., with separate title page; errata statement, p. 60. Green and Russell prepared separate issues of this edition for the booksellers J. Edwards and J. Winter, and the appendices with the variant imprints were evidently used interchangeably.
