- Notes:
-
- Entered by Evans under the publishers, Thomas and John Fleet, who are named in the 1789, 1791, and 1794-96 issues as editors of the Register.
- The almanac was probably calculated by Nathaniel Low. The eclipse predictions are a shorter version of those in his An astronomical diary or almanack for 1781 (also published by Fleet) but otherwise identically worded. The erroneous date of May for the first eclipse has been corrected to April. The calculations on the calendar pages correspond in part but tend to vary slightly.
- The pocket almanack itself was advertised in the Boston gazette, Nov. 13, 1789. In the Gazette for Dec. 18 it was advertised as "A Pocket almanack ... and register for the commonwealth of Massachusetts."
- "A register for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."--p. [29-64].
