- Calculated by Benjamin Workman. The eclipse predictions and the calculations on the calendar pages (excepting the added tide columns) duplicate those in William Goddard's Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia almanack for 1787 (Baltimore). Workman's authorship of the astronomical portion of the latter almanac is mentioned in his letter in Goddard's 1788 issue, entitled the Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia almanack.
- In an advertisement in the Freeman's journal, June 14, 1786, Workman offers his calculations for 1787 almanacs to publishers in Philadelphia and elsewhere.
- Bailey's pocket almanac was advertised in the Freeman's journal, Dec. 20, 1786.
- Plates engraved by Henry D. Pursell.
- "Contains an anonymous untitled poem by [Philip] Freneau embodied in 'A short account of the West Indies.' Author of the 'account' not determined. The poem collected in Miscellaneous Works, 1788, as 'Stanzas written in a blank leaf of Burke's History of the West India Islands.' "--BAL.
