Notes

The almanac was evidently calculated by Nathanael Low. The eclipse page duplicates that in his An astronomical diary or almanack for 1794. The calculations on the calendar pages are identical for the most part, but in some cases vary by one minute. The weather predictions tend to correspond in the two almanacs. The copyright notice on p. [2] of the Pocket almanack shows that both publications were registered Oct. 21, 1793.

Advertised in the Columbian centinel, Boston, Dec. 11, 1793, as Fleets' pocket almanack. Previous issues for 1788-1793 were so titled.

Two states of the "Additions and alterations" on p. 148 noted. One, presumably the later, includes notes on Ebenezer Seaver, John T. Kirkland and Josiah Bartlett, not found in the other.

Microform version available in the Readex Early American Imprints series.
