Caption title.

Place and date of publication suggested by Bristol. William Marshall, minister of the Scots Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, was barred from entrance to the church in 1786 by dissenting elders. His suit for recovery of the meetinghouse was tried before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in January 1789 and again in July 1790. Cf. Sprague, William. Annals of the American pulpit.
