How concertinas are played demonstrating two-handed playing, evaluates the German concertina. 4. Music: Up like Lou (concertina; lilting). 5. Music: Various tunes (concertina by McDonald). 6. Lowe and Simon Ferrier discuss Australian native birds, constructing the carved Blue Mountain parrot, how the noisy Pitta live on snails, how kookaburras (jackass) live on mice and kill snakes, then describe the birds their habitats and imitate their calls - plover, ring-necked plover, sand plover, black ducks, real ducks, wood ducks, musk ducks, swifts, magpies, jackasses, gill birds, tom-tits, blue wrens, willy wagtails ("shepherd's) companions"), brolgas (native companions), black swans, water hens, "tear-divers", shags, eagles, stone curlews, ibises, spoonbills, heron, cranes, owls, Blue Mountain parrot, kingfishers, butcher birds, magpies, wood peckers, lyre birds, bower birds, craybobs, how lyre birds play "like blacks at a corroboree", scrub turkeys, how lyre bird feathers are unlucky.
