Summary

Letters. Certificate from the Governor of N.S.W. appointing him to the Legislative Council. Album of newspaper cuttings. Loose newspaper cuttings and photographs. Invitations received during his overseas trip in 1946. Typescript copies of 2 poems.

Biography/History

Born in Scotland in 1890. In 1931 he was appointed by the Lang Government to the N.S.W. Legislative Council where he held office till 1940. From 1944-1959, he was Senator for N.S.W. He died in June 1970.
