- Military map of Che Kiang [i.e. Zhejiang] Province, China during the Taiping Rebellion (1850-1864) and featuring the harbour city of Ning-po [i.e. Ningbo]. The map includes the following notes: "Advance of Hwang with 20,000 men September 1862 [to] Tsie Kie (stormed Septr. 1862)"; "Advance of Fang with 18,000 men September 1862 [to] Fung-wha (evacuated Octbr. 1862)". From December 1861 to May 1862 Taiping generals controlled the city of Ning-po until it was captured by British and French forces. Relief is shown with hachures.
