- Condition: Good.
- Title from inscription on reverse.
- Inscriptions: "In Melbourne, Australia, on March 8, 1975, International Women's Day, 1,000 women marched down city streets. Members representing many women's organisations carried banners and shouted slogans. The march was preceded by an all-woman play perfomed at the City Square. The play depicted passive women putting up with drunken husbands and an array of oppressions suffered in the home. The march was led by four policewomen in a car. They kept order with smiles and quiet persuasion aimed at spectators and marchers alike. Demonstrations, P75/208, 19/3/75/5"--printed on reverse.
