- Inscriptions: "Australia has formed a national advisory committee to develop themes and programs for International Women's Year 1975. At the inaugural meeting in Canberra, the national capital, on September 11, 1974 the Prime Minister, Mr. Gough Whitlam, said the Australian government was determined that International Women's Year would be one of real significance during which substantial achievements would be made in furthering the opportunities for women. The advisory committee of 10 women and two men will foster and co-ordinate activities for International Women's Year and pass on recommendations to the Australian government.
