- Summary:
-
Allegations emerge from Pakistan that Australian spinners Shane Warne and Tim May were offered bribes to bowl badly, and Mark Waugh similarly approached to throw away his wicket in the first Test in Karachi a year previously. Nobody takes them too seriously, and besides, a Shane Warne dismissal would be pretty hard to fake. --Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
