- Summary:
-
"Viewed from Mount Coree, at 1837 hrs 08:01:2003. After burning strongly up-slope from the Goodradigbee River, the combustion rate on the McIntyres Hut fire eased at the crest of Webbs Ridge, as evident by the languid smoke plume drifting on the wind. Six small fires found later under the smoke plume were thought to be from spotting. Smoke, (far right) is rising from the Baldy Range spot fire."--Notes from the photographer.
